Day 1: Dar Es Salaam – Rufiji River Excursion (SELOUS GAME RESERVE)
This adventure starts early morning. Either upon your arrival at Julius Nyerere International airport or from your hotel, you will be welcomed by KIHINDO TOURS & SAFARIS representative and driven on a 5-hour road ride in a fully equipped 4×4 vehicle amid luxuriant landscapes and lively villages and reach your destination on time for lunch at the MLOKA SAFARI LODGE. In the afternoon we will take you on a boat safari on the Rufiji River sliding by crocodiles and hippos while discovering a stunning variety of birds. Complete your day with a magnificent sunset on the river. Dinner and overnight stay at the Lodge.

Day 2 and 3: Selous Game Reserve (Nyerere National Park)
Named after the legendary British explorer, Selous Game Reserve was founded as a reserve in 1905. It later expanded to include the traditional elephant
migration routes. Today renamed Nyerere National Park it covers an area three times the size of the Serengeti National Park and twice the size of Belgium.
After breakfast, a full-day safari begins. The Selous Reserve offers a diversity of fauna and flora: here you will be amazed by the wildlife and nature. Lakes host an array of aquatic fauna, magnificent baobab trees, extended plains,
hills, bush, and forest where you will pass by giraffes, elephants, warthogs, the rare wild dogs, among so many others, birds, monkeys, and the list goes on…. At lunch, you will pause at a dedicated picnic area and will continue your safari. Dinner and overnight stay at the Lodge.
Early wake up for a different thrill…. Escorted by rangers you will start your day walking in the wild for 2:30 hours learning about the life in the bush and discovering the less visible animal life. A rich breakfast will be served upon returning to the lodge.
And the adventure goes on for another safari on the footprints of the “Big 5” until evening. Dinner and overnight stay at the Lodge.

Day 4: Transfer From Selous Game Reserve to Mikumi National Park
Departure in the morning after breakfast for a 7-hour drive through the Uluguru Mountains, Morogoro village, and a picnic stop over for lunch stop. Upon reaching your lodge and after a refreshing pause, we will take you on a 2-hour visit to the Maasai village for an enriching cultural interaction with the Maasai people. Dinner and overnight stay at the MATEMBEZI SAFARI LODGE.
Day 5: Daylong Game Drive at Mikumi National Park
After a rich breakfast, we start a full-day game drive across the Mikumi National Park. This is an open park home to lions, elephants, buffalos, impalas, zebras and the list goes on! You will be offered a picnic for lunch at one of the campsites. Dinner and overnight stay at the MATEMBEZI SAFARI LODGE.

DAY 6: Transfer From Mikumi National Park to Iringa(Ruaha National Park)
On the road again! Departure after breakfast. We will stop for a cultural and enlightening visit to the Mtwa Mkawawa museum and the Isimila Stone Age Site having lunch at Iringa. We will proceed to reach your destination in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay at the RUAHA HILLTOP LODGE.

DAY 7: Daylong Game Drive at Ruaha National Park
Engage on a sunrise game drive. After an early breakfast, we will take you for a complete day game drive through the largest national park in Tanzania. A birds’ paradise with more than 571 species Ruaha National Park hosts the
highest concentration of elephants of any National Park in East Africa. Here you will spot magnificent mammals like kudu, sable, and roan antelopes and endangered wild dogs. It is the natural habitat for lions, leopards, cheetahs,
giraffes, zebras, elands, impalas, bat-eared foxes, and jackals. The park also harbours a number of reptiles and amphibians such as crocodiles, poisonous and non-poisonous snakes, monitor lizards, agama lizards, and frogs. The park is
characterized by semi-arid types of vegetation, baobab trees, acacia, and other species with more than 1,650 identified plant species. After a picnic and a little rest within the park, you will continue with the game drive till evening when
you will go back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay At RUAHA HILLTOP LODGE.
DAY 8: Ruaha National Park to Udzungwa Mountains
And the adventure goes on. Departing after breakfast for a 5:30 hour drive you will reach your destination on time for lunch at the UDZUNGWA FALLS LODGE. After a relaxing pause, we will guide you on 2 hours visit to the nearby village or visit a rubber farm. Dinner and overnight stay at the UDZUNGWA FALLS LODGE.

DAY 9: Hiking at Udzungwa Mountain & Water Falls
Daylong mountain hiking. Departure after breakfast for a half-hour drive. Dubbed the African Galapagos for its treasure-trove of endemic plants and animals, its closed-canopy forest spans from 250 meters (820 feet) to above 2,000meters (6,560ft) without interruption, embracing more than 400 bird species, from the lovely and readily-located green-headed oriole to more than a dozen secretive Eastern Arc endemics, including the forest partridge, first discovered in 1991.Of six primate species recorded, the Iringa red colobus and Sanje Crested
Mangabey both occur nowhere else in the world – the latter, remarkably, remained undetected by biologists prior to 1979. You will enjoy a rich picnic
at one of the many waterfalls. Dinner and overnight stay at the UDZUNGWA FALLS LODGE.

DAY 10: Transfer from Mikumi National Park to Dar Es Salaam
The adventure reaches its end. After breakfast, we start a 6-hour return drive to Dar es Salaam amid the now-familiar landscapes and colourful villages. A hot meal will be offered for the picnic pause.
