Tour Plan

After you arrive at Arusha Airport,(A morning flight is the best option ) you will meet your guide waiting for you there ready for the Tarangire safari. The park consists of natural vegetation mainly of Acacia woodland and giant African Baobab trees, with huge swamp areas in the south. Both the river and the swamps act like a magnet for wild animals, during Tanzania’s dry season. The Tarangire National Park is reputed to contain some of the largest elephant herds in Africa.

Other animals might be seen including Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffes, dik-dik, Impala, Eland, Grant Gazelles, olive baboons and some predators including lions, caracal and African Wild dogs.

This African National Park is also home to three rare species of animals – the Greater Kudu, the Fringed-eared Oryx, as well as a few Ashy Starlings.

Dinner & overnight at Fanakalodge
From Fanaka Lodge to Lake Manyara National Park, it's only 5km

After breakfast, the tour will continue to Lake Manyara National Park which offers a large variety of habitats. Acacia woodlands, water forests, baobab-strewn cliffs, algae-streaked hot springs, swamps and the lake itself.

The park is inhabited by different types of birds and many animal species, including elephants, buffalos, zebras, giraffes, leopards, lions, baboons, hippos, antelopes and warthog.

We will have a picnic lunch and then continue enjoying the wildlife  diversity Dinner & overnight at Eileens Treeinn Hotel
From Eileens TreeInn to Ngorongoro, it's only 15km

After breakfast, you will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife. Supported by a year-round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro conservation Area supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo and giant African elephants.

Also, it has a dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and leopards. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually be seen here.

It is a great place to shop not too far from New York. We took the bus from Port Authority and traveled through the countryside to get there.
