5-Days 4 Nights Mikumi and Nyerere Adventure Safari

After breakfast, we start a full-day game drive in Mikumi National Park where you will see a lot of plains animals. The park is home to lion, elephant, buffalo, impala, zebra and many more. We will have lunch at a picnic site in the park. Later, we return to our accommodation for dinner and overnight.

You will be picked up in the morning to depart from Mikumi National Park and head to Nyerere National Park (formerly Selous Game Reserve). Upon arrival, you will go on a boat safari on the Rufiji River where you will see animals like crocodiles, hippos and a variety of bird species. Dinner and overnight will be at Mloka Safari Lodge.

Today, you will have a full-day game drive in Nyerere National Park. After breakfast, you will proceed with a packed lunch box for the game viewing in the park. Enjoy lunch at a picnic site and relax for an hour before you continue with the game drive until the evening. The park is home to hippo, lion, elephant, crocodile and various other animals. After the game drive, we will return to Mloka Safari Lodge.

After an early coffee, we go on a walking safari within the national park. A walking safari with an armed guide is a fantastic way to learn about nature and the smaller animal species. The Bushman will share his knowledge of the bush and animals. This activity takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes. Walk back to the lodge for breakfast before you return to Dar es Salaam where you will be dropped off at the airport, ferry or hotel
